Starting his apprenticeship at his father’s metal and glass workshop when he left school, Josef Dimech quickly picked up the skill and developed the will to chase his ambitions and desire to stand out from the crowd. In 2004 he ventured out on his own and set up a company by the name of JS Dimech Com-Ind Ltd. Josef started off from a humble workshop in Birkirkara with just a few employees. His personal quest was to become the company of choice for innovative sustainable façade curtain wall systems and apertures and to become the respected leading firm for enhancing architectural aesthetics and performance. Ramping up over the years to successfully etching his name on the most iconic structures in Malta took Josef’s dreams beyond façade systems. Starting from a corporate restructuring, listing securities of his holding company JD Capital PLC on the Malta Stock Exchange, and diversification into real estate and logistics, the rebranded JSDGroup is set to achieve his ambitions.
